Working Environment:

This job generally requires standing, sitting, reaching, and lifting. The work day is broken into relatively quiet periods and extremely busy times. This position entails a large amount of time interacting with customers. This position may need to calm stressed, irate, and dissatisfied customers at times.

Small Engine Mechanic

Job Responsibilities & Essential Functions:

· Troubleshooting and repair for various types of power equipment including: engines, transmissions, electrical systems, cutting deck for lawn mowers, and two stroke equipment.
· Oil changes and general maintenance on customer’s equipment
· Sharpening of Blades, Tools, and Chainsaw Chains
· Pulling and inputting service parts onto work orders for repair/maintenance
· Proficient with parts look-up
· Accurate time tracking on all orders
· Clean and organized work area daily
· Professional appearance in accordance with Bath policies

Additional Duties:

· General “fill-in” of other jobs as needed (equipment sales, parts look-up, phone answering, delivery, etc…)
· Work hand in hand with all Power shop Employees to enhance Power shop appearance, repair shop, and sales achievements
· Notify appropriate parties immediately of any safety infractions, concerns, problems or unsafe activities.

 

Job Qualifications

Experience & Education

· 2+ years experience repairing power equipment (lawn and landscape)
· Strong troubleshooting abilities with all small engine equipment
· Basic computer skills with work order experience

Knowledge, Skills & Attributes

· Troubleshooting-Determining causes of power equipment operating errors and deciding what to do about it.
· Reading Comprehension-Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents
· Writing and Speaking-Communicating effectively in writing and verbalization of information effectively towards Bath employees and Bath customers

· Ability to work independently and make independent judgments which impact the company and customers

Service Advisor

Position Summary:

Initiates power equipment services and repairs by ascertaining performance problems and services requested; verifying warranty coverage; developing estimates; writing repair orders; liaison between shop and sales; repair scheduling; maintaining customer rapport and records. The Service Advisor at Bath with has priority emphasis focusing on improving customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities & Essential Functions:

  • Checking in power equipment for repair and service
  • Quick and full estimating equipment for service and repair
  • Pulling and inputting onto work orders; service parts needed for repairs
  • Filing warranties; tracking for progress status and payment
  • Simple express service repairs with mechanic back-up availability
  • Acting as general liaison between sales and shop
  • Accurate tracking of estimated repair times
  • Scheduling of repairs; along with, assigning work orders to mechanics

Additional Duties:

  • General “fill-in” of other jobs as needed (equipment sales, parts look-up, phone answering, delivery, etc…)
  • Work hand in hand with all Powershop Employees to enhance Power shop appearance, repair shop, and sales achievements

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent learning experience.
  • Must have good mechanical knowledge of Lawn and Landscape power equipment
  • Troubleshooting-Determining causes of power equipment operating errors and deciding what to do about it.
  • Basic computer skills
  • Reading Comprehension-Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents
  • Writing and Speaking-Communicating effectively in writing and verbalization of information effectively towards Bath mechanics and Bath customers

Delivery Driver

Position Summary:

Pick up and delivery for various types of Outdoor Power Equipment. Works closely with the Sales and Service team to ensure equipment is completed in the time frame required for on-time delivery. Ensures a positive and safe customer experience.

Job Responsibilities & Essential Functions:

  • Delivery and pick up of Outdoor Power Equipment
  • Assembly of outdoor equipment
  • Assist in incoming equipment procedures (inspection, power washing, etc)
  • Daily environmental services (show room and common areas)

Additional Duties:

  • Work hand in hand with all Power Shop Employees to enhance Power Shop appearance, repair shop, and sales achievements
